The search is finally over
We are very glad to announce Maarten Harms will be joining departure on drums.

Drummer Wanted!!! / upcomming DVD news

Well, it´s been terribly quiet here for the last few months but hopefully things will turn around soon.
Sadly after our last gig in april Clemens decided to quit Departure and this left us without a drummer. Due to his unique style and technical ability it proved very difficult to find a new drummer.
As of today we will be placing ads for drummers in various places and we hope to be announcing something soon.

On a brighter note, work is progressing nicely on the upcoming DVD that was shot during our last gig in april.
We will be offering this as a download when it´s finished.
As a preview you will find a few songs recorded that night in the media section. Enjoy!

Tankard support in Zwolle

We are proud to announce that Departure will be supporting beer metal legends Tankard at the Hedon venue in Zwolle. At the 12th of april sunday rest will be disturbed by Tankard, Departure and techno metal pioneers Next Waste Dimension.

Heavy X-mas in Soest!

Do you hate sitting at home with christmas with boring family? So do we!!!

Live in Kampen

On the 15th of november Departure will be playing live ‘t Ukien in Kampen.
We will be playing with Carnal Leftovers and one other band that has jet to be announced.

It will be our first gig with Ray on bass so get your banging heads over there and give him a warm welcome!

New bassplayer

After Erik left the band we have been searching for a suitable replacement and we are glad to anounce Ray (Alpenkruezers / Seraphique / ex-Delain) will be our new bass player.

We are currently planning recording sessions and new gigs so stay tuned!
