The wait is finally over. As of now the Departure live DVD “XII IV” is finally released through Herrie records!!!

Just a quick update on the upcoming dvd. Production of the video and audio material is done and if all goes as expected we’ll be ready to unleash is pretty soon.
We’re also hard at work on new material and getting ready to rock some stages so hopefuly we’ll see you soon!
The search is finally over
We are very glad to announce Maarten Harms will be joining departure on drums.
Also new songs will be posted as downloads very soon so keep watching the Departure website.
Well, it´s been terribly quiet here for the last few months but hopefully things will turn around soon.
Sadly after our last gig in april Clemens decided to quit Departure and this left us without a drummer. Due to his unique style and technical ability it proved very difficult to find a new drummer.

[ 28-02-2009; 19:00 to 23:00. ] This saturday Departure will be playing in Houten at the “Chipolata”. Shows will start at 1900 and entry fee is five euros.

After Erik left the band we have been searching for a suitable replacement and we are glad to anounce Ray (Alpenkruezers / Seraphique / ex-Delain) will be our new bass player.
We are currently planning recording sessions and new gigs so stay tuned!
We are sad to announce that Erik is going to leave Departure. He recently moved and is going to spent a lot of time on his new study. This sadly leaves him no time to continue playing bass in Departure. We wish Erik all the best for the future!

Well, thanks to Mark we have some nice progress on the website.
